What will the 12th arrondissement of Paris have to offer?

The 12th arrondissement is the eastern Paris. You won't find any key sights here, but it will be very convenient for a tourist to stay in this district. 

Quiet, calm, prosperous. This district is large, it extends from the Place de la Bastille and the Canal Saint-Martin and includes the entire forest of Vincennes. It is separated from the south by the Seine and from the north by Place de la Nación.

Whatever you are interested in, you are sure to find something to your liking. This neighborhood pays tribute to the "beautiful era" and offers viaduct walks, raucous parties and privacy. Shopping, opera, cinematography and more.

Despite its impressive size and peripheral location, the 12th arrondissement is convenient for the tourist as it is well connected to the city center by metro and public transportation. 

The western part, adjacent to Place de la Bastille, is more suitable for young people. Shopping lovers should take a closer look at the Bercy quarter, and for everyone else we recommend just to be closer to the metro. There are plenty of hotels in the 12th arrondissement. For your convenience, choose those that are closer to metro lines 1 and 14 or to the attractions you would like to visit.
